Goods Management
with BassetPro Enterprise

SageData is based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

BassetPro is a system that combines barcode technology with mobile readers to enable data on physical assets to be collected easily, quickly and accurately. This makes it the ideal tool to manage goods / physical assets, and for performing routine inspections and safety checks.

There are several variants of BassetPro. The BassetPro Enterprise variant is particularly suited to mid size government departments, for managing capital assets, but also for manufacturing or construction operations where components or equipment must be tracked through various and frequent physical movements.

Our versatile systems adapt to any material management environment, from tracking fixed assets and optimizing warehouse operations to the secure control of hazardous materials.
The asset management configuration is trusted by numerous Federal Government Departments to monitor IT infrastructure, including laptops, servers, and AV equipment. Notably, the RCMP utilizes these solutions to track critical gear—such as weapons, vehicles, and radios—and to manage logistics for high-security, large-scale events like the G7 summit.

Who is SageData?

Based in Ottawa, SageData has been a trusted partner to the Federal Government for over 25 years. Having served nearly every department and agency, we are currently managing the tracking of materials for the ongoing restoration projects on Parliament Hill.

How are these systems configured?

Reading Server's barcode

Once BassetPro is installed and operational, the receipt, deployment, audit and disposal of equipment becomes extremely simple. Because asset tags with barcodes or RFID are used to identify items, tracking activity or registering a move or disposal becomes easy, fast and accurate.
Reporting is comprehensive and fast. So managers can have a full accounting. You can know exactly what you have, exactly where it is, and exactly when it was last touched.
